New projects on the horizon

LBD/T Artistic Director, Lauren Baines, is joining forces with for change dance collective Artistic Director Claire Calalo to create choreography and direction for a new multidisciplinary work led by David and Teresa Pleins that will premiere in February 2016.

Lamentations: Images of War and Protest is a performance piece that dramatizes the war poetry of the Jewish Bible. Fusing modern dance, choral music, percussion, and spoken word, this dramatic work brings witness to the horrors of war through the eyes of its victims, wounded soldiers, children, and mothers of the disappeared.
